Grief & Loss  I Trauma I  Anxiety I  Depression  I  Stress I  Relationship

Working from counselling rooms in Devonport on Auckland’s North Shore, and online, I work with people experiencing a whole range of difficulties as a result of grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, work or career issues, and stress. Sometimes though, it’s not that specific, clients sometimes arrive at counselling because they just don’t feel like they’re coping. They might feel they don’t have anyone to talk to, or perhaps can’t see a way out of a hard time or situation.

Grief and Loss

I work with people who are recently bereaved or had a loss earlier in their life which still causes them pain and suffering. I also welcome people who have experienced loss through:

  • trauma

  • a relationship breakup

  • moving far from home

  • losing a job

  • being estranged from family and friends

  • miscarriage

  • fertility treatment

Work and Career

Work takes up a lot of our precious life. At times, it can be the cause of upheaval or extreme challenge, and for some it results in feeling overwhelmed. It can also simply be a trigger for deep introspection. I welcome people grappling with:

  • Redundancy

  • Leadership development

  • Career change

  • Work stress

  • Difficult work relationships

Anxiety and Depression

Sometimes people feel their anxiety or depression is caused by something specific, such as:

  • work or school stress;

  • family issues;

  • relationship problems; or

  • physical illness.

Other people might have no idea why they feel the way they do. I work with people who feel that anxiety or depression is holding them back.
